"The Ruined Puzzle" - Dashboard Confessional

I woke up early at 6 AM to go to York University so they can evalute my portfolio. I paid .40 to get there by the GO bus to get rejected. Shame. The entire interview was a waste of time because my interview actually started at 12:30 when we have to arrive at 9 AM. I had to literally sit and stare at the wall for almost 3 hours. 3 hours of waiting to be rejected. He even insulted me. "I advise you to take the Arts Fundamental program at Sheridan College." Because I did not take visual arts in my entire life. I've taken courses relating to visual arts (photography, computer arts/media arts) but it was not good enough. Everyone else there had huge canvases of oil paintings while I had a binder full of photography darkroom pieces. The newsletter told me to show my best work, and that's what I did. Oh well, life isn't fair and it's not the end of the world. It's tough because it is so damn competitive (DOUBLE COHORT!).

The bright side is that I was able to get an interview. You don't know how many applicants (heh, 10000) they had to cut just to make it to 350 people. I was lucky because of the questionaire. Big thanks to Christina K and Fahad R for editing my essay and to everyone who wished me good luck, I would not of had this experience and even to make it this far. I luff you all. :)

From this FAILURE experience, I learned that I cannot be always be honest, life's a bitch (though, I knew that from the day I was born), there's always someone 100x better than you, never be over-confident, and lastly, do what you want to do - don't pay attention to the ones doubting you .. just follow your heart to reach your goal. My favourite is the last one.. my dad didn't want me to take art but that is what I like to do so that is what I am going to do. Seriously.. can you imagine me taking science? NEVER! XD!!

"Saints and Sailors" - Dashboard Confessional

Whoo, I went to Sherway Gardens today and got the Dashboard Confessional @ HMV... It's an awesome album even when it has only 10 tracks... All of the songs are good. ;D I also bought california rolls for dinner.. damn it was cheap.. like something. Yummy~

I also went to see York University today.. dude it's kinda old. I went into Winters College and there were cuss words written on the chalkboards outside of the door. Hehe, I saw some students and said to my dad

ME: "Now that's what an art university student looks like..." *points at a punkish/gothic girl*
DAD: "Yeahhhh.. they are a different class, they're strange and funny looking. Especially the boys, they're mostly gay."
ME: *laughs* "True that. I'm gonna look like that. How would you feel if I got my eyebrow and belly pierced?"
DAD: *LOL* "I don't care. Go ahead, you freak."

Can you believe my dad saying that? Well he did. Weird.. I think it was the coffee.. xD

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! or as Rydia would say..."SINGLEAWARENESS DAY". I got two candygrams... =D The candy tastes nasty.;S it tastes like sugar when it's supposed to be fruity-ish. Hmmm.. I hate this holiday.. why is it even a holiday? People should show that they care for their person everyday.. not just on v-day.. mehh. Oh well, good for me.. I'm listening to A LOT of Dashboard Confessional lately... i'm turning emo... I heard "This Bitter Pill" omg, it's one of the most weirdest songs ever because Chris (the singer) wails and screams (sad way) in it... like seriously, he sings like it's the end of the world.. soo freaking EMOtional.. =D I luff it! <3

Ooh, Computer Arts was so funny because it's last period and everyone's hyper. I was in the darkroom rolling film (hahha, our school is cheap) in pitch black. After rolling the film, when everyone was done Johnny was like yelling "PUSH!!" because his film canister lid wouldn't go in. Then Lex was yelling "PULL!!" for no reason.. and then AJ was yelling "HARDER!!!" hahaha just for the hell of it.. it was so hilarious.. especially for Melvin because he was standing outside and listening to our convo. Lunch was also so funny because we (Me, Phil, Rajeev) kept on making fun of Adil.

Period 2 lunch jokes of the day & yesterday-->"SSSSSSsssss AHHHH sssSssssAHHH" - Peter from Family Guy // "Shut up you son of a BEECH!" - Fez from That 70's Show. LOL

Oh lastly.. I'm now labelled as "Artsy-Fartsy" by Christina C. and AJ because I spend too much money on art materials and always having them in my bag. :S!

"A Plain Morning" - Dashboard Confessional

You wouldn't believe how many Avril look-alike's I saw at the mall yesterday. God I was petrified... that's probably how Hell is like. =/Anyhow, I went to the mall and bought another pair of knee high boots. Dude, they were ! My other ones I bought 2 years ago were ... so yea, good deal huh? PLUS they got the laces... which I likes. :D!!

The Used and Finch concert is tomorrow! I wanted to go but I don't have anyone to go with me because I don't anyone who likes them. I think they're alright... plus the tickets were cheap (can't remember how much though). This year i'm definitly going to Anime North. Hehe, it's gonna be fun because i'm going with Angie and Liz and Melvin's gonna be there too. :D!

OMGOMG NOO!! I got an email from the university about a portfolio interview. Do you know what that means? I did GOOD on my questionaire. WTF? Hehe yay! What sucks is that my portfolio isn't ready yet :S. I got kind of scared when I read the email:

Whhaaa.. it's so close! So afterschool I went out to Michael's and bought some canvas paper and other art materials since I need more stuff. I might include 3D stuff because Mr. B said so...but I'm not sure, i'm such a newb in it and I should show my "best" work. Hmmm...?

I'm starting to stress out again but I shouldn't because it's only the first week of the semester. It's CALCULUS that's killing me. I did a test today and I thought I did good but found out I made a lot of mistakes. Don't you just hate it when that happens? I SERIOUSLY THOUGHT IT WAS AN ODD FUNCTION! DAMN "NEITHER"!! (ignore that if you dont' take calculus XD)Gahh~ I hate school. Oh I kind of changed my "career path/goal". Right now I'm trying to get into Design or New Media programs in university for bachelor of applied arts or bachelor of design... and become what? graphic designer? Nahhh~~ Methinks I should become a teacher. I like teaching people in my classes (SOMETIMES) so maybe it's a good job for me. Plus, the money is good. What sucks is that i'm going BACK to school (if I was a teacher)... like seriously, right now i'm trying to get out of it and i'm going back again? retarded right? and geez, look at how many hours they work.. it's like going to highschool.. and I hate school... hmm, i can't make up my mind... hopefully what I want (career) will become more CLEAR when i'm closer to reachin there in the future.

Today's Sarah's bday party dinner thingy. :D!! Yay~~ Before I go I have to do my calculus homework. Gah, Calculus is so hard for me because I can't remember how to do Grade 11 math.. guhh sux for me, ne. Ooh, today was the Japanese "midterm exam." It was alright.. because I studied. :3!!

I got a few red packets today from my cousin and aunt. I taught my second cousin how to play "Hot Cross Buns" on the piano.. but he still can barely hit the keys coz he's only 2 yrs old. I'm gonna teach him and Justin (other second cousin) piano when they get older.. (Y)!! Ooh, yesterday I played The Sims and I created a Coal Chamber Family. It's so funny because I made Dez cook and he got the stove on fire. Bastard! LOL.. The game is so amusing... because they talk so retarded, they leave plates on the floor and it's censored when they're taking a shower.lol....

EDIT: Okay, back from Sarah's dinner party. It was a funny evening plz. It was at Jack Astor's so we get to draw on our table... I drew Kenshin.. XD i'll have ot ask sarah to gimme the pic so I can put it up.. LMAO.. me and Angie wrote a lot of japanese words.. and sentences on the table and a waiter dude saw it. LMAO I had a short convo w/ the waiter about jap & chinese words.. it was quite weird and amusing. cant' remember his name...gotta ask Angie so we can stalk him. anyways, when the waiters/waitresses whatever did the singing shit.. it was so funny because sarah had to say "I'm so sexy!" a few times in the song. XD!! On the ride home.. sarah was driving sooo slow purposely to piss of Raj.. lmao.. "piece of shit car.." (adam sandler song) hahahaha.. Raj has a pencil stuck on his window. LMAO!! yes, I had a fun day.. too bad I couldn't stay at her house for some cake because of calc.

"When Worlds Collide" - Powerman 5000

Shit-fuck-damn. I got my comm. tech summative project back from Mr. Hodgson today and I got 85%. Okay, that's a good mark but I still have to complain because that's the LOWEST mark in the class. Renee used only flash, worked individual, had okay content and got 90%. How is that possible? I used 4 programs, had okay content, worked individual and got LOWER. I even did more work than people worked in groups. I spent 2 weeks working on it and MOST people worked on it for ONE HOUR. HOLY ^$*#&^$*#@$@ GEEZ, he can't mark for shit, I'm gonna fuckin complain until my mark is at least 95 because I don't want this mark to crush my 92 since it's worth 30% of my mark. LORD.

Gah.... and calculus is so hard.. :( i'm gonna die.

Today was my last exam, which was for psyc. It was REALLY easy..because there were a lot of stuff on things I didn't even need to study for. What sux is that I had to write 3 paragraphs in 10 minutes...and my wrist was hurting like crazy.. heh, it was only 1.5 hour long exam. :3

After the exam, me and Angie went to Lick's to eat, then watched Witch Hunter Robin & Ghost in the Shell: SAC. The original plan was to go Putting Edge (glow in the dark mini putt!) but Liz couldn't come and it would just suck if it's just the two of us... :( ooh and Suzy drove us.. yayyy.. she had BAD stopping/break? skills.. she goes past the white line aka stopping like 30 centimetres after the stop sign..!! crazy girl..haha how the hell did you get your license? XD!!

Ooooh...almost forgot! I borrowed the Lilo & Stitch dvd off of Calvin today and watched it. It has a very good storyline but the characters look mighty fugly. THE FROG OWNZ! Plus, Mr. Bubbles looks like Morpheus from The Matrix..(btw, can't wait till that's out!!)

Okay anyways, I lied about putting up a new layout after exams... XD! JUSt because I have some freetime.. ughhhh i don't feel like studying.. XD yea so this layout is featuring Chise from Saikano. =D

My host (silentstar.org) is being cold to me. I sent him an email LAST summer about that cgi-bin directory shit so i can install greymatter but he never replied.. so I got Jenny (his niece/my friend) to tell him but he ignored her Methinks I need to get a new host or buy my own domain and spaceage. However, I don't get allowance, plus I don't have a job. Plz don't tell me to get a job, I hear that a lot from people *cough*PHIL&ANGIE*cough*.. I can't do that... I have THREE portfolio interviews that I need to prepare for and I NEED sleep. too much coffee~~

Today was so retarded. We were sitting between the most loudest "otakus" ever. Here's a little description of each person.

Janice - 15 years old, dirty blond, white gal. Has a palm pilot where she keeps her ANIME and japanese school notes in. kenshin's wh0re.
Chris - 16? years old, fake blond, white dude. He wears goggles on his head like RO characters and ALWAYS wears the same Rurouni Kenshin shirt every class. a typical "fanboy" and pronounces manga "mang-GAH" loser.
Andrew - 17 years old, red head, white dude. He has a 3-page list (Times New Roman font, size 10, 8.5x11 paper) of all the anime he has and has seen because he has no life. He brings in old issues of NewTypes that he "shows off". He has a Japanese-English electronic dictionary/translator. He is also in a small group (INSIGNIFICANT) anime fansubbing group. fudgepacker.
Colleen - Scary/fugly looking Korean fangirl. 15 or 16 years old and has red dyed hair WITH A RAT TAIL. When we say sentences together as a class she goes SOOOO loud.. she thinks she's the "best" at speaking jap. wtf.. where's your korean pride?
Unknown Name aka Retard that sits beside Colleen - She's about the same age as Colleen and she's Korean too. She brings in manga and reads it during a lesson. BTW, her drawings are SHIT. She also acts like Colleen's bitch.

TODAY:
Janice was talking to Chris about how she was going to cosplay as Ed from Cowboy Bebop for the anime convention in May. Then they start talking about their favourite episode. I don't have a problem with them talking about Cowboy Bebop or any OLD anime but seriously, they should lower the volume because I was sitting across from Angie and she could't even hear me. Next, when the teacher was saying "watashi wa michael jackson o kiki masu".. Janice yells super loud saying "LINKIN PARK!" and "SYSTEM OF A DOWN".. *cough*pop ho, stfu!! Then, she again, YELLS across the room telling Chris about things she's going to buy @ Anime Nation.

EDIT: OMG I remember, Andrew said something stupid. He was talking to these other girls like a "know-it-all" about anime.. today it was about Kanon.. what a gay.
